How to Make Body Oil
Body oils can nourish the skin. You can use your body oil as a massage oil, add it to a bath to heal dry skin or rub light amounts into your body to replace your regular moisturizer. You can mix up a batch in seconds flat. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 8-oz. dark glass bottle
- Small pot water
- 1/2 cup grapeseed oil
- 1/2 cup sweet almond oil
- 2 (400 IU) vitamin E capsules
- 8 to 10 drops essential oils

Mix your body oil into an 8-oz. dark glass bottle and store it in a cool, dark place. For best results, keep your body oil in the refrigerator.

Sterilize your glass bottle in a small pot of water. Slowly bring the water to a boil. Let the boiling continue for about 1 minute, and then turn off the heat. Once cool, remove the bottle and leave it upside down to dry.

Mix 1/2 cup of grapeseed oil and 1/2 cup of sweet almond oil in your bottle. To preserve freshness, add the contents of 2 (400 IU) vitamin E capsules. Finish your body oil by adding your choice of essential oils, mixing in 8 to 10 drops of one or more essential oils.

Shake your body oil gently before each use and keep it in a cool dark place. If you use fresh, quality ingredients, your oil should remain fresh for up to 1 full year.
