Halloween is an exciting time of year. Children get dressed in all types of costumes to go trick or treating in. Some festivals prohibit scary costumes while other children prefer innocent costumes. Young girls may have a fascination with angels. So, many children decide to become an angel. You do not have to spend a lot of money to make a very cute angel costume. You can make one at home quickly and easily.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pencil
  • Cardboard
  • Knife
  • Gold Spray Paintbrush
  • White Dress
  • Gold Elastic or Rope
  • Glitter
  1. Step 1

Place cardboard on a flat surface. Draw a set of wings. Imagine making a round heart that is large in size. You should plan for the wings to cover the back torso area. Do not make it too wide. If you do so, the angel will likely get tired of the wings before the evening is done and begin removing her costume.

  2. Step 2

Make four holes in the wings. You will want two per wing. There should be be two close to the top and two close to the bottom. Remember to space these were they will make comfortable arm holes.

  3. Step 3

Take wings outside. Spray paint them gold.

  4. Step 4

Make arm straps using the elastic. On the right wing connect the top hole to the bottom hole. Do the same for the left wing.

  5. Step 5

    Put dress on.

  6. Step 6

Put some baby breath flowers in the hair. If you have a gold tiara, you can use that as a halo.

  7. Step 7

Put just a little glitter on the face to complete the angel look.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you can't find cardboard, you can use a large box.
  • To make the wings fancier, you can add glitter around the edges.
  • Do not overdo make up. You will want to have the angel look as innocent as possible.
