Is your hair healthy, but seems like no matter what you do, it just won't grow past your shoulders? This can be absolutely frustrating if you are trying to grow your your hair to longer lengths. Consider your hair styling regimen. Tight ponytails and updo's can break your hair off. Braids can rip it from the roots and rough combing, brushing and dryness can damage the ends of your hair.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Ladies please please please no rubber bands. Invest in some scrunchies or hair clips if you must wear your hair up and never pull it so tight that you give yourself a face lift. This will surely break your hair off.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't let anyone tell you that your hair is not capable of growing long. This is a lie. Take care of your hair and your hair will thrive.
  • Embrace the beauty of your hair. You don't have to have bone straight hair for it to look attractive, (rollerset instead of flat ironing some times), the overall health of your hair will improve too.
  • Avoid heat like a plague. It's okay to use hair irons, but you should limit the use to at the absolute most....once per week, longer if you can. Learn to do other noheat/lowheat styles.
