Things You'll Need:
- Tweezers
- Mirror
- Eyebrow pencil or lip liner
-
Step 1
Draw the shape you want the brow to be on the eyebrow. It may take time to find the perfect shape. Most women look good with rounded, long eyebrows. Round the brow near the nose and taper it as the brow arches over the eye coming to a point at the other side of the eye. If you are not happy with the drawn look, clean the eyebrow and start again until you find the perfect look. If you have thick eyebrows, use a lip liner instead of an eyebrow pencil to better see the outline.
-
Step 2
Find the natural arch of the eye. Hold a pencil up to the nostril at a 90-degree. The highest point of the brow is where the pencil crosses the eyebrow. If the outline from Step 1 does not include the highest point of the arch, wash off the outline and do it again, this time including the highest point of the arch.
-
Step 3
Find the end of the eyebrow. Place a pencil on the nostril at a 45-degree angle and up to the edge of the eye. The outline needs to meet the pencil, not go past or stop before it.
-
Step 4
Start tweezing the brow. Begin at the nose and work across the face to the side of the eye. Remove any hairs that are not inside the outline. Do this slowly to make sure you don't remove too many hairs.
-
Step 5
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the other brow.
-
Step 6
Wash the face to remove all of the pencil marks before putting on any makeup.
