Make Protein Pancakes

Have you ever wondered how you could squeeze more protein into your diet? Read on for the steps to make protein pancakes!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blender
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 packet of Splenda
  1. Step 1

Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Step 2

Cook in a non-stick pan like you would normally prepare pancakes.

  3. Step 3

Eat them plain. Yes, you read that correctly. If you add the syrup and butter...it would kind of defeat the whole purpose of eating them. But, do as you wish. ;)

Tips & Warnings
  • Nutritional value per serving: 218 calories, 32 grams of protein, 14 grams of carbs, 0 grams of fat and 1 gram of fiber.
  • Butter & syrup will add lots of sugar, fat & calories!

on 6/26/2008 YUMMY!! I think I will leave the Splenda out on mine though. I do not believe artificial products are healthy. I also love my butter, which is better for you than margarine. I love this recipe and well written! 5 Stars ~!~
