Instructions

    • 1

Take the iPod box and separate all the parts. There should be roughly five different sections that can be taken out of the main box.

    • 2

Cut a piece of Styrofoam into a square for the base of your robot. Then cut another piece of Styrofoam into a circle that is smaller and that will fit onto the base of your robot.

    • 3

Design a pair of arms for your robot. They can be circular, square or heart-shaped. Whatever you want your arms to be, cut the Styrofoam into that shape. Make two arms and then glue them onto the Styrofoam circle.

    • 4

Take your iPod box and put it onto the circular piece of Styrofoam. Be sure it fits properly and then glue the iPod box onto the Styrofoam so that it will not come apart.

    • 5

Spray paint your box and Styrofoam with a black metallic paint (or color of your choice), covering the entire surface.

    • 6

Draw on details to make the box look more like a robot. Some of the things that you can add are darker lines to enhance the sides of your robots or nuts and bolts.

    • 7

Bring your robot to life with face. Draw on a pair of eyes and a mouth or whatever features you feel your robot should have.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to use spray paint outside.
