Living in the Los Angeles area definitely has its perks. One of these is Free Movie Screenings. Not only do these events contain the thrill of seeing a movie before it comes out (and sometimes meeting the stars), but it is absolutely FREE. They sometimes also include FREE Popcorn and soft drink as well. I am going to show you how to find these opportunities. So, if you are living in Los Angeles or just visiting, you can experience a FREE movie screening with VIP treatment intstead of just paying for the movies at at the local movie theatre.

  1. Step 1

    Check out a new blog I started listing all the upcoming Free Movie Screenings in LA area. http://lafreemoviescreenings.blogspot.com/ (nice plug, eh?)

  2. Step 2

    Search the Jobs-Tv/Media/Film & Etc. Sections of Craigslist to see if any movie screenings are coming up - search "free movie." *****Also may want to search the "Gigs" Section of Craigslist - Los Angeles.

  3. Step 3

    Sign up at websites such as laemmie theatres, filmmetro.com, freeflix.net, Nielson's Movie Review, freemoviescreenings.net, volition.com

  4. Step 4

    Go to Free Movie Screening!!! Arrive 30-45 minutes early in order to get in. A lot of the time they will search you/ go over you with a metal detecting wand, so leave your cell phone/camera in the car. ENJOY SAVING MONEY AND HAVING AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! :)
