How to Make a BB Gun Into a Small Shotgun
Many children, young adults and even adults own BB guns also known as pellet guns. They are a type of air gun that shoot spherical projectiles through a smoothbore barrel used for target practice or small game hunting. BBs are 6 mm in diameter, made of plastic or non-metallic materials, and are non-lethal. You can make some small adjustments to your BB gun to create a small shotgun.

Open the action of your BB gun; you may be using the model 25 BB gun. Take a small amount of paper towel and roll it into a tight ball. Place it inside of the barrel of the gun.

Close or snap the action of your BB gun shut.

Pour as much of the BB shot as you want down the muzzle. Remember the more shot you use or put into the gun, the lower the velocity or the speed and distance of your shots.

Insert a pop-it into the muzzle. This is a sound enhancement and it helps to keep the BB shot in place. If the pop-it does not fit, use a wad of wool about 1 ½ inches across and thick enough so that it is a tight fit when you try to use the wool for a cleaning patch. Push the wad of wool down into the bore with your ramrod. Jag and rub the place that needs smoothing. Wipe the oil off the bore so the wool will "cut."

Fit the pop-it into the muzzle of the BB gun.

Pump your gun as much as possible and fire.

Tips & Warnings
Steel shot is much harder creating more of an impact.
Never aim your gun at another person. It is not lethal but it can still create serious injury.

However wrote this article need to have his head examined. His information is misguiding. First of all there several different terms that are misleading in the article. BB guns usually refer to the .177mm steel or copper BB that you usually find in a Daisy Air Rifle. 6mm BB are considered to be AirSoft BB (Plastic) Guns. These are toys. Regular BB guns are not toys. This article it telling you how to modify a AirSoft toy and turn it into a weapon. 6mm Airsoft guns are NEVER used for hunting. (That?s just one of the reasons they are considered a toy). BB guns can be dangerous but they also should never be used for hunting. Steel BB?s do not deform when they hit a target.
