Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit the official website of tourism in California, "Visit California," to learn more about the Amgen Tour of California. Follow the links to the official Amgen website to find more about the race and the names of other companies who are Tour sponsors. Look at the cities involved in the race and sign up for the Tour email to stay current on the latest race news.

  2. Step 2

Click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the Amgen page. Note the email found under the heading "Sponsorship Information." Send email inquiries about becoming a sponsor of the Amgen Tour of California to the Amgen Tour representative at AEG Worldwide. AEG Worldwide, a California-based entertainment company, hosts and manages the Amgen Tour.

  3. Step 3

Ask the AEG representative about the levels of sponsorship available, the responsibility sponsorship brings and the perks associated with becoming a sponsor of the Amgen Tour of California. Ask about the different way you can participate in "Breakaway from Cancer" fund raising.

  4. Step 4

Choose the level of sponsorship that fits your budget. Ask for a contract outlining your sponsorship agreement with AEG and the Amgen Tour of California. Review the contract and enjoy being a sponsor of professional cycling in California while joining the fight against cancer.
