Things You'll Need:

    Drawing Circles

  1. Step 1

Draw a circle. Notice how in the finished bubble picture the bubble is not completely round. Most bubbles in real life are not round. Wind and movement can make them lopsided.

  2. Step 2
    Highlight

    Highlight

Draw a highlight window. It should sit on the bubble where the most light will hit it. Notice how the highlight is a square that curves. This suggests a round shape. Simply draw two lines that curve upward and two lines that curve to the right.

  3. Step 3
    Shading

    Shading

Add shading. Shading should lie on the edges of the bubble that will receive little light. Usually the darkest shadow will be on the opposite side from the highlight. Make the shading dark near the edge and lighter farther away from the edge.
