Instructions

    • 1

Purchase some bentonite clay online or at an organic beauty or health food store.

    • 2

Cover the area(s) affected with eczema with a generous layer of damp clay.

    • 3

Wrap the area(s) with plastic wrap and cover yourself with a soft, long, comfortable bathrobe. This helps to hold in the moisture and prevents the clay from drying out too quickly. (For those who feel this is too tedious, apply a thin layer and let dry.)

    • 4

Keep the clay on for a few hours and then rinse off.

    • 5

Repeat Steps 2 through 4 after several hours.

    • 6

Repeat the above whenever itching occurs.

    • 7

Soak in a 20 minute bath about once a week (or more) with 2 to 4 cups of powdered bentonite clay.

Tips & Warnings

  • It may take a few months to see results. Be patient. The skin may peel initially but then improve over time.

  • Some also suggest while treating your skin with bentonite clay, you can also ingest it. Take 1 to 2 ounces of liquid clay twice a day or take dry, 1 to 2 tablespoons, twice per day.

  • Speak with a doctor before taking the clay internally.
