New Year's Eve is one of the biggest party nights of all. People from all nations celebrate the close of one year and the beginning of a new year. New Year's parties are held for all ages, including teenagers. If you want to throw a teenage New Year's party, follow these tips for a fun and safe bash.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

 • Party location
 •
Guest list
 •
Party invitations
 •
Food and drinks
 •
Entertainment
 •
Party decorations, including New Year's Eve party favors
 •
Plates, cups, utensils and so forth

Step1
Select a location for the party. This could be a room in your house, an outside patio or backyard area, a garage or you could look into renting an area for your teenage New Year's Eve party.
Step2
Now that you have the exact location selected, make a guest list for your teenage New Year's party. One thing to keep in mind when creating the list is the age and compatibility of the guests invited. You do not want anyone to be uncomfortable or feel out of place.
Step3
Use the list created to send invitations to all of your teenage New Year's Eve party guests. You can send the party invitations by either regular mail or email. If you want to know ahead how many people will be coming, request the guests to respond to the invitations (RSVP).
Step4
You can either order food for your teenage New Year's Eve party, or make it yourself. It can be as simple as a few snacks with drinks, ordering pizza and sodas, or you can have a full course meal with a complete non-alcoholic bar. It will depend on your budget, your guests and your wishes; it really is up to you. Make a list of all of the items you will need to buy (or order) for the New Year's party. Purchase these items as soon as possible. In addition, include any party favors, cups, plates or New Year's Eve decorations that you will need.
Step5
Provide age-appropriate entertainment for your teenage partygoers. Younger teenagers require different party entertainment than older teenagers do. Make sure you supply music, room to dance, party games and plenty of places to mingle.
Step6
The day of your New Year's party, decorate the party location. Set up the room and take care of any details needed. Now, sit back and enjoy your teenage New Year's party as the countdown begins.

Tips & Warnings

 • You can present your teenage New Year's party guests with sparkling juice in place of champagne. A good way to do this is by using those plastic champagne glasses to set the “mood” of the event.
 •
A week (or at least a few days) before the New Years Eve party, make sure you have all supplies needed for it. Go over your list of required items (food, drinks, favors, decorations and others), verify any entertainment, respond to any guests and any other last minute details.
