Things You'll Need:
- Get paid to read email program
- Access to a downline builder
- Email address

Step 1
Visit the downline builder website. You can find these on popular internet business forums such as GetPaidForum.com. You can also do a search for downline builders or get paid to read email programs to find them.

Step 2
Spend time investigating the different paid to read email programs. Ones that have been around for a while are probably not scams. Getting in at the very beginning of ones owned by well-respected owners can get you the biggest referral base.

Step 3
Decide which get paid to read email program you want to join and click into its thread in the downline builder. Find the last referral link on the forum thread.

Step 4
Post CMI, or "count me in," or whatever the rules of the specific downline builder says to use to indicate that you are signing up next in line at the downline builder. This is a place holder and you should only post this when you are ready to join the program.

Step 5
Click on the referral link in the post immediately preceeding yours. Sign up to the program through this link without deleting any "referred by" information. This will put you in the downline of the person who owns that link.

Step 6
Find your referral link in the program's member's area and head back to the get paid to read email program downline builder forum. Edit the post where you typed "CMI" and insert your referral link for the next person to click on.
