If you have a night out on the town scheduled, you probably are wondering how you can look your best for that big night out. Looking good starts with cleaning up, styling your hair and face and selecting the right outfit. Follow these steps to help you look good for your next night out.

From Quick Guide: Girls' Night Out
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Take a shower. Wash your hair and your body. Remember to shave your face (men) and legs or armpits (women) if you need it. Alternatively, consider taking a long bath if you have the time. Not only will a bath get you clean, but it can relax you too before you go out for the night.

  2. Step 2

Style your hair. Decide if you want to blow-dry your hair or let it dry naturally. Women should consider using hair accessories like headbands or clips. Use hair products in your hair such as hair serum, hairspray or gel. These will not only help you get the hairstyle you want, but they will hold your style in place all night long.

  3. Step 3

Apply makeup and other body care products. Women can go for a more striking look at night in terms of their makeup. Focus on one particular facial feature, such as eyes or lips, with your makeup. Both men and women should consider applying perfume or cologne and deodorant before going out for a night on the town, as well.

  4. Step 4

Choose your outfit and your shoes. Pick clothing and shoes that are stylish yet comfortable to wear. You don't want to be tugging at your outfit or complaining of sore feet all night long. Select clothing that is appropriate for the place that you are going to for your night out.

  5. Step 5

Add accessories to complete your look. Men should add a nice watch and a belt to complete their outfits. Women should remember a handbag or clutch, as well as jewelry. Necklaces, bracelets and earrings are all great accessories that really help you tie an outfit together.
