Play-Doh is a modeling compound made by Hasbro. While you might not be able to match it, you can make a generic version using Jell-O and some other ingredients.

    Things You'll Need

    • Saucepan
    • Stove
    • Mixing spoon
    • Counter top/table
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1/2 cup salt
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
    • 3 1/2 ounce package unsweetened Jell-0
      • 1

        Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.

        Place the saucepan on the stove and turn the burner to medium.

        Stir constantly until the mixture achieves the consistency of mashed potatoes.

        Let it cool and knead with floured hands until dry.

    • Once dough is completely cool, you can store it in an airtight container.
