How to Get Lots of Candy on Halloween

Halloween is an exciting holiday for young children and even teenagers. It's a night of having fun with friends and being able to dress up in your favorite costumes and characters. If you get creative, there are ways to make the most of Beggar's Night and get lots of candy on Halloween. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Visit different neighborhoods. If you live in a small neighborhood, once you've gone to all the houses close to where you live, drive to other neighborhoods with the largest houses to get the best and biggest candy bars. Drive to large neighborhoods with houses close together and you can cover more ground in a shorter amount of time, too.

    • 2

Leave early and come home late. To have the most time possible, make sure you get out as soon as you can and be sure to be the last people out trick-or-treating that night. Even if it's cold, dress appropriately so you can stay out as late as possible without getting uncomfortable.

    • 3

Go out twice. Once you've completed your neighborhood and any neighboring areas, go home and change your costume. Simply put on a new mask or a different costume that involves lots of face make-up so you won't be recognized and go to the same houses again.

    • 4

Say "Please" and "Thank you." Parents love young children with good manners and a cute smile to go along with it can be enough to get an extra piece of candy in your bag.

    • 5

Attend various Beggar's Night parties. Lots of churches and towns have fall festivals or Halloween parties for kids. Go to these and play some games while wearing your costumes and you can win lots of candy and prizes.
