Step 1

Go to a dollar store or an inexpensive discount store. Select several single baby items, such as a bottle, a rattle and a pair of booties. It's generally recommended that you buy between 10 and 20 such items.

Purchase a few small gifts as prizes. These can be anything from small figurines to a coffee mug or a box of candy. Make sure you purchase enough to have at least 3 or 4 winners and possibly more, depending on how you choose to award prizes.

Write the cost of each baby item on that item in an inconspicuous location, so the guests don't see it.

Step 4

Give each guest a sheet of paper and a pencil. Display each item one at a time and ask the guests to write down what they believe the it costs.

Go through your inventory a second time around, but this time supply the guests with the actual price. Ask the guests to write down the correct price next to their guess.

Step 6

Award prizes for this baby shower game based on any or all of the following criteria: most accurate, or the guest whose two totals are the closest, the most correct answers, the most inaccurate guesses and the single largest discrepancy.
