A desktop wallpaper is designed to enhance your computer's appearance to your distinctive tastes, but after awhile you get bored with the same built-in wallpaper. With today's technology though, you can use your downloaded photos to brighten up your screen.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Time
  • Pictures
  • Computer
  • Editing software such as Kodak Easy Share
Step1
Go to all of the photos that you want to include in your multi-picture wallpaper and right click on them. In the small menu that comes up, click on Edit. Each picture will open in separate windows which is fine. You can keep track of them on the task bar.
Step2
Go to one of photos that is in the edit mode. In this open window, you should see a drawing menu on the left-hand side and a pencil every time you go to the picture. On the picture you will see small blue dots in the middle of the photo's bottom side, and right side.
Step3
Mouse over the bottom blue dot and drag it down almost as if you were pulling the picture. Doing this will create a white area in which you will use to paste the other photos in. Do the same to the right side and stretch it as much as you'd like.
Step4
Then go to the other pictures that are opened and in each one go to Edit then Select All and Copy. Go to your main picture, the one with the white area on it and click on Edit and then Paste.
Step5
The picture will paste right on top of the other one so don't panic. Click on the photo and a 4-arrows cross should come up, when it does, move the photo to the desired location. Do the same thing to the remaining photos until you have all your photos on one page.
Step6
After you are satisfied, click on File then Save As, be certain to click on Save As because if you don't your pictures will stay this way and you will not be able to see them individually anymore.
Step7
Once you do Save As, go to your Start Menu, Control Panel and Appearances and Themes or if you have the classic menu, Display. Once here, click on the Desktop tab and select Browse, choose the picture you just did and click on apply and then Ok. Your picture should now be your wallpaper.
