The cupboards are stocked. The fridge is full. Now what do you do with all of those empty plastic grocery bags? Rather than pile them under the kitchen sink or, even worse, toss them in the trash, this is an easy way to organize and store them for future use.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Make sure the jug is completely cleaned out. It’s best to use an empty water jug rather than a container that held milk. That way, there won’t be any unexpected smells from leftover residue.

  2. Step 2

Cut a hole in the jug. A 3- or 4-inch square on the front side is ideal. Many jugs have a label in this spot. Simply cut the hole there.

  3. Step 3

Put in the plastic bags. The jug will hold dozens of them neatly so that whenever you need one, they are ready to go.

Tips & Warnings
  • Put the plastic bags into the jug one at a time. That way they will come out one at a time as well.
