How to Create an Arrow Object in Adobe Fireworks CS3
Sometimes you need to make an arrow to point out something on a chart or to show the flow of progression in a presentation. It can take a bit to draw one by hand, but there's an easy shape creator in Adobe Fireworks CS3 that allows you to just paste an arrow right into the project you're working with.

Open the desired project in Adobe Fireworks CS3

On the right hand side are six tool set tabs. At the bottom is the Auto Shape Properties tab, click on it to expand it.

Select Arrow in the drop down box below.

You should now have a pre-drawn arrow on screen. You can click and drag the "shaper boxes" around the arrow to make it the desired shape and point it in the desired direction. You can use the properties tab at the bottom to edit the color and texture inside the arrow.

Drag it to the desired location within your project and you're done.

There's a lot of other easy to use shapes in the Auto Shape Properties menu, so try them out as well to make working with Adobe Fireworks CS3 easier.
