How to Be a Muslim
A Muslim is a follower of the Islam religion who believes that Allah is the one true God and Mohammed was his last messenger or prophet. The steps to becoming a Muslim are similar to the steps to becoming a Christian. Follow these steps to be a Muslim.

Believe that Allah is the one true God and Mohammed is his messenger. There is no other requirement or prerequisite to become Muslim other than to believe this in your heart.

Know that once you accept Allah into your heart, you repent the ways of your previous life. All your sins are erased and you start anew.

Find a mosque near you and go there to learn Islam. Worship Allah outwardly by purifying yourself, praying and reciting the Holy Qur'an. Worship Allah inwardly by believing in him in your heart.

Follow what Allah tells you to do and stay away from evil. Keep yourself pure. He knows what is good and bad for you.

Say the Shahada as follows: "ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH." You don't have to say it in public, only to yourself and believe it in your heart. In English it means, "I bear witness that there is no deity (none truly to be worshipped) but, Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah."

Cleanse yourself with a bath and promise to comply with all Islamic principles and rules. Disown all other gods or false beliefs. Reject evil and become righteous. Pray five times a day to Allah.

The only true way to heaven is to confess with your mouth that Jesus is the son of God and that Jesus is Lord in order to get into heaven. There is no such thing as a prophet. Jesus was sent to Earth as God's messenger and He died for our sins so that we can be children of God.
