All flat screen televisions are not made the same. Some simple steps can keep you clear of high repair bills and costly exchanges.

  1. Step 1

    Make certain the brand of television is one that you trust.

  2. Step 2

    Chose whether you want an LCD, Plasma, or Rear Projection type of television.

  3. Step 3

    Some restrictions apply to the size of each type of television. Rear projection have to be larger then LCD or Plasma types of TV's.

  4. Step 4

    All the types have very different resolutions and pictures. Rear Projection is good for large rooms, while LCD and Plasma's have very wide viewing area's.

  5. Step 5

    Make certain that there is a good warranty for any type of TV you chose.
