Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Access every item and decide whether you really need an item or not. This is the beginning of getting organized.
Step2
Give away anything that you do not need anymore. You can donate unwanted clothing and other items that are still in good condition to organizations that help the less fortunate.
Step3
Throw away anything that is of no use to anyone. Get rid of things that you've been holding onto for centuries as well as papers and junk that's cluttering good space.
Step4
Organize and clean your house accordingly. After you have given away and thrown away everything unnecessary, you can now begin to organize and clean your house the way you want it.
Step5
Practice daily to keep things in order as you move throughout the house. If you see something out of place, make it a practice to correct the situation at that moment in time. This practice will keep your house from ending in disarray.
Step6
Maintain a weekly schedule to make sure things are in order. If you set a specific day to clean and keep things in order, you won't run the risk of allowing things to get so out of hand.
