Step 1
Start Dreamweaver and open an existing file that contains a table that you would like to add a row or column to.

Use your mouse to click within one of the cells in your table. If you are adding a row, it will be added above selected cell. If you are adding a column, it will be added to the left of the selected cell.

Choose the "Modify" menu, point to the "Table" option and click on "Insert Row" or "Insert Column" to add a row or column to your table.

Open Dreamweaver and start a file you have already created that contains a table you can add multiple rows or columns to.

Click within one of the cells in the table that you would like to place a row or column beside.

Choose "Modify" from the Dreamweaver menus, point to "Table" and click on "Insert Rows or Columns…" to bring up the "Insert Rows or Columns" dialog box.

Select whether you want to insert rows or columns.

Step 5
Use the arrows your keyboard to enter the number of rows or columns you would like to add to the table.

Step 6
Decide whether you would like to add those rows or columns above or below (for rows) or before or after (for columns) the cell you have selected.

Step 7
Click the "OK" button to close the "Insert Rows or Columns" dialog box and insert multiple rows or columns to your table.
