Open Windows Media Player. PC users can open it through the "Start" menu. Mac users can open it by clicking on the program icon in the dock.

Go to "File" drop-down menu and select "Open."

Select the music you've downloaded from LimeWire.

Open the iTunes application.

Click "File" drop-down menu and select "Add to Library."

Locate and select the file you with to transfer.

Click "Choose" to begin the transfer.

Open the Winamp application.

Open your music library. You can do this by selecting "View" and then "Library" from the menu bars, or by pressing "Alt" and "L" at the same time.

Click on the "File" menu and select "Add Media to Library."

Search for the folder where your LimeWire downloads are saved. Depending on how your LimeWire program is configured, these files could be saved in several different places.

Select the music file(s) you wish to transfer and click "OK."

Use a shortcut to add individual music files to your library by right-clicking the file name and selecting "Send To" and "Add to Local Media."

Open the LimeWire application.

Click the "LimeWire" drop-down menu.

Select "Preferences" from the menu. Another window will open, allowing you to browse LimeWire's different preference options.

Click "Saving" to show the various options for saving files once they've been downloaded from LimeWire.

Click the "Browse" button and search your computer for the music folder used to store songs for your media player.

Highlight the folder you wish to save your LimeWire downloads to and click the "Open" button. The window will close once your selection has been made.

Click "Apply" in the "Preferences" menu. This will store all the changes you've made.
