How to Correctly Shape Your Eyebrows

How to Correctly Shape Your Eyebrowsthumbnail
Go easy with the tweezers to avoid thinning your eyebrows too much.

Give your whole face a makeover by correctly shaping your eyebrows. Before you get out the tweezers, determine what kind of brow shape works best on your face. In general, long or oval face shapes carry flatter brows better, while round, heart, and square face shapes require an arch. Armed with tools and the best shape in mind, trim your brows and update your look.

    • Popsicle stick
    • Eyebrow brush
    • White eyebrow pencil
    • Tweezers
      • 1

Place the popsicle stick along one side of your nose up to your brow bone. This is where your eyebrow should start. Mark this spot with the white eyebrow pencil. Repeat on the other side.

      • 2

Look directly into a mirror. Align the stick from your pupil to the top of your eyebrow. This is where the arch should start. Mark this spot.

      • 3

Place the stick from the corner of your mouth to the outward brow. This is where your brow should end. Mark the spot.

      • 4

Begin removing hairs with the tweezers, following these marks. Proceed carefully and don't remove more than two rows of hair.
