Here is another great way to use up those extra Yo-Yo's from your quilt.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yo-Yo's in white and another color
  • Pin backing
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue
  • Black marker or pen
  • Wooden plug
  • Tiny seed beads
  • Gold wire
  • Button in your choice of style (heart, flower, etc.)
  1. Step 1

Sew your white Yo-Yo down one side back to middle to make "wings".

  2. Step 2

Glue your "wings" to the back of the colored Yo-Yo, slightly higher so the "wings" show above the front Yo-Yo.

  3. Step 3

Make a halo out of the wire and glue between the two Yo-Yo's.

  4. Step 4

Add a drop of glue to one side of plug and roll in tiny seed beads to make "hair".

  5. Step 5

Glue plug to the top of the front Yo-Yo, just below the halo.

  6. Step 6

Using your black pen or marker, add two dots for eyes. You can also use blue if you want your angel to have blue eyes.

  7. Step 7

Glue your button to the center of the front Yo-Yo, hiding the hole in the Yo-Yo.

  8. Step 8

Glue your pin backing on the back of the "wings".

Tips & Warnings
  • Let glue dry in between each step.
