Instructions

    • 1

Gather a couple of 12-packs of beer that everyone can drink, this is not a liquor or wine type of drinking game.

    • 2

Get a good sized group of people. Although the game can be played with a minimum of about three people, it is best if played with a party of six to eight people.

    • 3

Sit in a circle with the beer and bottle opener in an easy to access location.

    • 4

Start the game by thinking of a famous person. It can be an author, actor, musician, politician or even an old teacher that the majority of the people playing remember.

    • 5

Go in a circle, and name celebrities whose first name starts with the first letter of the celebrity last mentioned. For instance, if one person says "Elvis Presley" the next person has to think of a celebrity whose first name starts with the letter "P."

    • 6

Drink while thinking about what celebrity to use.

    • 7

End the game when no one feels like playing anymore and the focus of the party shifts to something else.

Tips & Warnings

  • Optional rule: If someone says a name with the same letters in the first and last name, the rotation reverses direction. So if the rotation is going clockwise, and someone says "Marilyn Monroe" then the rotation reverses and goes counterclockwise.

  • You can gang up on certain individuals by using the rotation reversal rule.

  • This is an easy way to drink yourself and your guests into oblivion. As a result, it probably shouldn't be played for more than an hour.

  • Make sure at least one person remains sober and competent to monitor for the signs of alcohol poisoning, which can occur quickly, and contact 911 should an emergency arise.

  • Never drink and drive. Designate a driver before you start playing.

I believe you should edit #5 to say: Go in a circle, and name celebrities whose first name starts with the first letter of the last name of the previous celebrity mentioned. For instance, if one person says "Elvis Presley" the next person has to think of a celebrity whose first name starts with the letter "P." I'm sure that's what you intended to say but that should help to better explain that step. Fun game and a quick way to get wasted!
