If you are looking for a fun game to play, aggravation is a board game that is fun for the whole family or for a night in with a group of friends. Simply gather a group of two to six people and start playing this fun marble-moving game. Read on to learn how to play aggravation.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pick a set of four marbles to play with, all the same color. Put them on the base row.

  2. Step 2

Take turns throwing the dice. The person who rolls the highest number will go first and play continues in a clockwise direction.

  3. Step 3

Start a marble by rolling a 1 or a 6. Then you can move a marble from your base row to start.

  4. Step 4

Move a started marble clockwise around the holes on the board. Move the same number of holes as the number on the dice you rolled.

  5. Step 5

Land on another player's marble to "Aggravate" them. They have to move their marble back to the base row. Again, the marbles can only be moved from base to start by rolling a 1 or a 6.

  6. Step 6

Get your marbles to the home row by exact count on the dice. If you cannot do this, move one of your other marbles. If you don't have any other marbles to play with, your turn is over.

  7. Step 7

Win the game by being the first person to get all of your marbles to the home row.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the marble you are moving is going to land on another of your marbles, you cannot move it.
  • By using the center hole shortcut, you can cut down on your moves. To move to the center hole, roll the exact number on the dice as there are holes from your marble in the start row. You have to roll a 1 to get your marble back out of the center hole.
  • You can't jump or land on one of your own marbles.
