How to Play the Jerry Springer Drinking Game
Supposedly dreamed up by a New Jersey college student named David Levy back in 1998, the Jerry Springer drinking game attempts to bring the atmosphere of the obnoxious show to a living room near you. Round up some crazy friends, and play according to the following rules.
Things You'll Need
- Beer
- Shot glasses
- Quarters
- Table
- Large cup
- Sturdy chairs
- Four players or more
- Television
- An episode of "The Jerry Springer Show"

1
Chug your beer if you have ever had the problem that the show is going to "explore" (cheating girlfriend, mother was a hooker, next door neighbor was in the KKK). This is done only at the beginning of the show. Think of it as kind of a warm up for things to come.
-
2
Do a shot of beer any time you hear a curse word beeped out, if someone says the title of this particular episode, if someone comes out holding an object, if that object is later used in a fight or if someone in the audience offers "helpful" advice to the guests. If you have no idea what point Jerry was trying to make with his "final thought," do a shot.

3
Drop a quarter in the cup in the middle of the table whenever Jerry goes to a commercial break. Last one to do so has to take two shots.
-
4
Play musical chairs if Jerry ridicules one of the guests. You have to move more than one chair away. Last person to sit down, no matter what reason, takes a shot.
-
5
Check to see if you still have your hair when someone's wig gets pulled off. Stand on your chair and scream, "I love Jerry!" if the chairs get thrown all over the stage and have to be straightened up. Attempt to pat your head and rub your tummy if you see a bouncer in a pink shirt.
-
6
Put your thumb on the table when you see the free ticket screen. Last one to do so takes a shot.
-
7
Listen for someone rapping in the final credits. The last person to take a shot has to repeat what the audience member said verbatim.

Tips & Warnings
If you want to make it interesting or just be cruel, substitute a shot glass for the cup in the middle of the table as the game goes on.
Don't drink and drive.

Sounds fun...too bad the show comes on at midday.
