Instructions
-
-
1
Purchase supplies from craft and hardware stores.
-
2
Organize supplies for fast access and identification. Separate three discs for each cake. When they are stacked from largest to smallest, the assembly should resemble a wedding cake.
-
-
3
Spread a thin layer of Spackle along the top and edges of each of your three disc sizes. Spackle should be smooth. Allow each disc to dry before continuing.
-
4
Measure the circumference of each of the three discs used to make one cake.
-
5
Cut ribbon to fit perfectly around each disc. You can cover the entire sides of each disc or one area.
-
6
Secure the ribbon on each disc by using a pin. For larger ribbon, use more than one pin.
-
7
Glue the 3 layers of each cake together and allow time for drying.
-
8
Place 3 or more cakes in the center of each reception table.
