How to Make Chili Lime Butter

If you're tired of serving the same old butter with dinner, then it is time to spice it up. Here is a great chili lime butter recipe. Does this Spark an idea?

  • Red chili flakes

      Allow butter to soften by taking it out of the fridge and leaving it on the counter for about 15 minutes. With this recipe, you can make as much or as little as you would like. But to make it worth your while, use at least 1/2 lb. of butter.

      Grate the lime peel using a fine grater into a bowl. For each 1/2 lb. of butter, you will need the zest of 1 grated lime.

      Add the Chili Flakes to the bowl. For each 1/2 lb. of butter, add 2 tsp. of chili lime flakes to the bowl of lime zest.

      Squeeze the lime juice into the bowl. For every 1/2 lb. of butter, use 1 lime.

      Place the softened butter into the bowl and mix. Make sure the ingredients are well stirred and that your butter is well softened.

      Put your newly mixed chili lime butter into a container and store in the fridge. It will keep for about two months.
