1
Make party invitations in the form of a movie ticket out of red or yellow construction paper. Print the words "Admit One" and include the host child in the movie title such as "Mary's Movie Night Premiere."
-
2
Roll out a long piece of red carpet on your sidewalk leading guests to the front door. Paint a sign on a large piece of cardboard advertising the premier of the same movie name you listed on the ticket invitation.
For an added touch, have someone dressed in a tux or gown greet the guests at the door and check the guest list before admitting them. -
-
3
Place black table covers on your tables and decorate with gold helium filled balloons and gold confetti. Serve dry snacks in upside down top hats and drinks from plastic champagne flutes. Movie premier nights are very elegant and the champagne flutes make the teens feel grown up.
-
4
Provide each guest a ballot with a list of several different movies you have available. Have them each vote for their favorite "Best Picture" and then show whichever movie got the most votes. If this is an overnight party, you can show the runner-up later in the evening. Make sure the movie selections are appropriate for teens.

Give autograph books to everyone as party favors and have guests write short messages in each of the books. Be sure and have the host write a thank you message to all the party guests.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure to give teens free time to just hang out and talk. They don't need round the clock activities planned like younger children.
