How to Invite Friends to Interact on The Webkinz Website
Your friends with Webkinz pets want to interact with you on the Webkinz website but you don't know how or whether it's even safe. You're not supposed to give out any of your personal account information and the Internet can be a really scary place. Follow these steps to learn how to do this, if it's safe and what parents need to know.

Inform and involve your parents or guardians about your Internet activity and get their permission to interact online first.

Go to the Webkinz homepage on the Internet and log in with your Username and Password.

Click on your cell phone icon from the menu bar and turn on the power on by clicking the "Power" button.

Click "Add," then enter your friend's Username to your Friends List. Your friend will need to do the same thing with your Username so you can see and recognize each other.

Search for your friend by Username in the different color zones available on your Webkinz virtual cell phone. Your friend must be online with his or her cell phone turned on for you to invite them over.

Find your friend's username in a color zone. If it has a green smiley face you can invite that friend to interact with you. Click on their Username, then click "Invite" on your cell phone.

Wait for your friend to accept or decline your invitation. If they accept, you'll hear a doorbell and your friend's virtual pet will appear in your Webkinz world so you can interact in a safe environment.

Share your Webkinz world with your friend. They will have access to and see everything in your virtual Webkinz world. The instant messaging is very safe because you can only interact with your friend using Webkinz messages, but can't type your own words.

You and your friend can call each other and decide to log on with your Webkinz at a scheduled time and meet at the same cell phone color zone.
Never share your password with anyone because this will give them access to your virtual pet.
