The sinus is a passage in the head that discharges mucus from the nose on infection. The infection can be viral, fungal or bacterial. You will experience inflammation inside the nose, referred to as sinusitis. All this leads to nasal blockage. Here is how to recognize the symptoms of sinus infections

  1. Step 1

    The basic symptom of sinus infection is a continual headache followed by fever.

  2. Step 2

    Cough and cold will last longer in acute sinusitis.

  3. Step 3

    Check whether there is facial puffiness and swollen eyelids.

  4. Step 4

    Sense of smell will decrease.

  5. Step 5

    Fatigue and weakness are common.

  6. Step 6

    Observe whether the color of the nasal discharge is thick and yellowish-green.
