How to Create a Property Listing on Yahoo! Real Estate

If you have a home or other property for sale and you'd like the world to know, Yahoo! Real Estate can deliver your news to a wide audience. As one of the premiere home-selling sites on the Web, Yahoo! Real Estate features powerful tools, search functions and a large audience of would-be home buyers. Listing a property is a simple process and will only take a small portion of your time. You can easily create your property listing and start connecting with your potential buyers.

Set Up the Property Listing Process

1. Log on to the Yahoo! Real Estate homepage (see Resources below).
2. Click "Sign In" if you haven't yet entered your username and password. You must be signed in to complete the process. If you don't yet have an account, click "Sign Up" to create one.
3. Return to the Yahoo! Real Estate homepage.
4. Click on "Post a Home Listing."
5. Choose a category for your classifieds ad in the pre-populated listing. In this case, you'll want the Residential Real Estate option.
6. Select a sub-category specifying the type of property you have available.
7. Choose the final sub-category options to further describe your listing.
8. Click "Continue."

Present Your Property Listing's Details

9. Enter all the known information about your property and click "Continue."
10. Upload available photos by clicking "Choose File." You may also skip this step and click "Continue."
11. Verify listing details and click "Proceed to Billing." Or you may edit details first by clicking "Edit Ad."
12. Type in your payment details and click "Continue."

Tips & Warnings

• The more information you share in your listing, the more likely you are to receive responses. While all details are not required to list your property, tidbits such as square footage, price per square footage and property type will increase results.
