Book Travel on Airtransse

Step2
Choose a travel agent who speaks Japanese or who is familiar with Airtransse.

Enjoy Your Flight on Airtransse

Step1
Arrive at the airport at least 45 minutes in advance of your departure time. Arriving even earlier would probably be a smart idea, especially if you are traveling out of the New Chitose International Airport.
Step2
Speed your way through the security scans by having everything prepared according to the new regulations. The closer to the rules you are, the faster you will move through security.
Step3
Check current travel restrictions, which continually change. Security will stop you from boarding if you are carrying a banned item. Even innocuous items like eye drops and lip balm can be suspect.

Step1
From the New Chitose International Airport, you can take a hotel shuttle or bus into the cities of Sapporo or Chitose. The giant New Chitose International Airport (the biggest in Japan) serves both.

Visit the Goryokaku fort, which was designed after the European style of a 5-pointed star and was built in 1866 in Hakodate. The shogunate ended at the fort with Hijikata Toshizo's last stand.
