Figure out transportation to Aspen, Colorado. There is a small airport located near Aspen, but if you fly into Denver and drive the four hours to Aspen, it will save you money. If you don’t want to fly, you could take the bus or drive yourself. Pick your means of travel and if needed, make reservations.

Decide where you want to stay. Aspen, Colorado is a well-known resort community and offers a wide variety of lodging options. There are hotels, motels, lodges as well as cozy bed and breakfasts inns. Make your reservations before you go and be sure to get a receipt or confirmation number.

Pack for the trip. Find out the weather conditions and know that mountain weather can change quickly. It would be a good idea to bring a variety of clothing. If you are planning on attending any special events, pack for them as well.
