Things You'll Need:
- Account with iTunes
- Computer

Step 1
Open iTunes on your computer.

Click the "Edit" menu, and then select "Preferences."

Click the "Advanced" tab. Within the "Advanced" tab, find the "General" tab.

Check the option for “Use iTunes as the Default Player for Audio Files.”

Click "OK." Whenever you double-click on an audio file in Windows, it will automatically open iTunes and begin playing.

Play a file from your library. You can access music in your current iTunes library from iTunes itself. Click "Music" from the "Source" list under "Library." The songs in your library will appear on the right.

Click a song once to select it.

Press the "Play" button in the top left corner or double-click a song to begin play.

If you don’t see a song in your library, but you know it is on your computer, you must add it. Click "File." Then select "Add file to library" and locate the file on your hard drive.
