Trackbacks have several purposes. They allow you to reference another blog in your own blog or to comment on another Weblog. It also allows the other blog's writer to know that you have more information or comments available on your Weblog. Here is how you trackback to another blog.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Locate the blog entry you wish to trackback.

Step2
Get the trackback URL from that Weblog and copy it.

Step3
Write your blog entry.

Step4
Copy the trackback URL into the space provided for trackbacks.

Publish your blog entry. This will automatically notify the blog you referenced and you will have sent a trackback.
