Lamborghini is considered by many to be the ultimate exotic car. Launched in 1963, these Italian-made cars immediately gave Ferrari models a run for their money. Today, the cars cost a quarter of a million dollars. But many of the older cars may be more affordable than you think.

Step1
Consider a Miura if you want the car that set a new standard in performance and handling. With a gorgeous mid-engine design and a V-12 engine, the Miura is perhaps the most famous Lamborghini after the Countach. These cars were built from 1967 to 1973. They aren't cheap, but they should be a solid investment.
Step2
Look into getting a Countach if you want the most outrageous Lamborghini ever. The name means "Wow" in Italian slang. These cars were built from 1974 to 1990, and they probably won't get any cheaper than they are now.
Step3
Consider any of the V-8 Lamborghinis if you want a more affordable car. These include the Urraco and the Jalpa.
Step4
Look into getting a 2+2 car if you want a more affordable V-12. These include the 400GT and the Espada.

Tips & Warnings

  • These cars are not cheap to maintain and parts are hard to come by. Be sure to find a good mechanic before you even start looking for a car.
