Cut out whatever you'd like - moons, stars, and mountains perhaps, or simple circles, squares, and ovals. Whatever the design, it's easy to use your cutouts and a little imagination to make homemade greeting cards.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1
     

    Draw or trace shapes and letters on colored construction paper or cut them from magazines.

  2. Step 2
     

    Cut out the shapes and/or letters.

  3. Step 3
     

    Fold a piece of construction paper in half.

  4. Step 4

    Arrange the cutouts on the folded paper to determine your design.

  5. Step 5
     

    Put rubber cement or glue on one side of the cutout shapes.

  6. Step 6

    Place the shapes on the construction paper, glue-side down.

  7. Step 7
     

    Smooth out glue bubbles and wipe off excess glue.

  8. Step 8
     

    When shapes are secure, write a message on the inside with marker.

on 10/31/2009 technically the way I did is the same ,only the materials used were different.I preferred using dry waste garlic union skin to collage which it will give a gliterring affect the surface of paper.
