How to Back Up Apple TV Blobs
Back up AppleTV blobs by saving them on your computer with TinyUmbrella. SHSH stands for Signature Hash, and SHSH blobs are the secure signature hash files used by your iOS device. These signature files are used by the Apple Server to verify the version of your iOS. The AppleTV sends a request to the Apple Server, and the server sends back the SHSH blob file. If you save the blob file, you can send it to the Apple Server to trick it into thinking that your device is using the latest updated version of iOS. This is useful if you wish to unlock or jailbreak your device, which is done by having it run on an older version of the iOS firmware.
