How to Connect a Digital Pen to an iPAQ HX4700
The iPAQ HX4700 is a Pocket PC PDA device made by Hewlett-Packard that comes with a plastic stylus for the touch screen. If you have lost the original stylus, you have the option of purchasing a digital pen stylus as an accessory. These devices fit into the stylus hole just like the original stylus, but offer the added advantage of a built-in ballpoint pen.

Remove the stock plastic stylus from the stylus slot by pulling it upward.

Insert the digital pen stylus into the slot.

Push down on the digital pen stylus until it is fully seated into the slot.

Tips & Warnings
Some digital pens may not fit fully into the slot due to the shape of the pen cap. If the pen won't go in all the way, sand down the edges of the cap using fine sandpaper.
