How to Prevent People From Getting My MySpace Codes

MySpace lets you create an online profile with various information, such as “About Me,” “I’d Like to Meet” and “Interests.” Your profile is set to public by default and allows anyone to search your information freely. You can add codes, or snippets of HTML, to your profile to change the background, cursor, layout and music. To prevent people from viewing the codes you have used to alter your MySpace profile, you can hide certain sections of your page.

Instructions

1. Launch any Web browser and log in to your MySpace account.

2. Click “Edit Profile” next to your profile picture.

3. Copy and paste the following code into your “About Me” or “I’d Like to Meet” section:

4. Click “Save All Changes.”

5. Click “View My Profile” to view your MySpace page.
