A very dark room is required to make an EyeClops Mini Projector appear brighter.

The EyeClops Mini Projector is a standard-definition video projector that's very small in size and designed as a children's toy. While this projector can be purchased for under $100, the brightness of the projected image is very low, as it uses a basic LED light for projection. You can't make the image brighter by making any adjustments to the EyeClops Mini Projector itself. However, you can make some adjustments to the room where you're projecting the video image to make sure that it appears at its brightest.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off all lights in the room. By making the room as dark as possible, the LED bulb of the EyeClops Mini Projector will have less light to compete with and appear brighter.

    • 2

Wait until night to turn on the EyeClops Mini Projector, as sunlight entering through windows or nearby rooms will interfere with the low level of light from the projector.

    • 3

Tape black garbage bags over any windows in the room to keep outdoor light from entering the room. Use masking tape to avoid ripping any paint from the wall. Alternatively, you can hang up some dark fabric.

    • 4

Turn off the lights outside of the room or place a blanket or towel underneath of the door to keep light from seeping into the room.

    • 5

Make a frame around the projected image using black construction paper, which will keep light from reflecting off of the wall or screen and improve image brightness.

Tips & Warnings

  • If projecting outdoors, wait until the sun has set completely to use the EyeClops Mini Projector. Invest in a higher quality projector for better results, as it'll deliver better quality than the EyeClops Mini Projector as well as on-screen menu displays for adjusting the image brightness.
