How to Install Permissions for a Firefox Applet
The Firefox Web browser supports a wide range of programs and scripts used to provide dynamic or interactive features on websites, including Java Applets. Java support is usually enabled by default, but you may have disabled the option when upgrading the browser or changing the Web browser's security settings. To grant permissions to Java Applet programs in Firefox, access the browser’s add-on manager and enable the Java plug-ins.
