How to Remove Powered by Zedo Popups in Windows 7

Adware slows your computer.

Powered by Zedo popups are generated by an adware program. These popups are generally labeled "Powered by Zedo," and they may redirect you to xads.Zedo.com, AAValue, URL.CPVfeed.com or Upsiral.com. Fortunately, the Windows 7 operating system comes preinstalled with Windows Defender, a free program created by Microsoft and designed to remove adware programs from your computer.

Instructions

1. Click "Start," "All Programs" and "Windows Defender." Alternatively, click "Start," type "Windows Defender" into the search field and press "Enter." Windows Defender opens.

2. Click the "Arrow" next to the "Help" icon and select "Check for Updates" from the drop-down menu. Windows Defender downloads the latest updates. This may take several minutes.

3. Click the "Down Arrow" next to "Scan" and select "Full Scan" from the drop-down menu. Windows Defender scans your entire computer and removes any adware. This may take anywhere from several minutes to several hours.
