  • 6-inch cotton dressing gown cord

      Cut two 2-inch lengths of cotton tape.

      Add a dab of instant glue to one end of the first stretch of tape. Attach the end of the tape to the top end of the dressing gown cord. Wrap the tape around the cord down the length and secure the other end with a dab of glue.

      Add a dab of glue to the second stretch of tape and attach it to the bottom end of the first stretch. Wrap the tape around the cord until you have 2 inches of cord left. Attach the end to the cord with glue.

      Comb out the end of the cord to form the spread of the donkey's tail.
