Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Choose a driver. A driver typically weighs 160 to 180 grams. You can buy a driver that's predisposed to draw or hook. For beginners a normal driving disc is best to start. There are a multitude of drift variations for discs.

  2. Step 2

Choose a putter. A putter also weighs about 160 to 180 grams. The putter is weighted differently than a driver to provide better accuracy. You can also buy putters that tend to drift to the right or left.

  3. Step 3

Pick bright colors. You can pick up discs that are the recipient's favorite colors. The bright colors also make it easier to keep track of the discs.

  4. Step 4

Pick discs that have designs the recipient may like. Each different manufacturer has a logo on the disc. If the recipient happens to like sharks, you can find discs that have a shark printed on them.
